Since upgrading (HA!) to iTunes 9 my aged but still functional iPod Classic 80GB produces an error on every connection.
iTunes has detected an iPod that appears to be corrupted. You may need to restore this iPod before it can be used with iTunes. You may also try disconnecting and reconnecting the iPod.
Have done the reconnect thing a dozen times and done three separate restorations. The iPod works fine. But iTunes 9 will not sync with it.
Not sure if this is a known problem, but it sure is annoying.
