Not playing (1 of 0) ...

Hi,

I'm regularly getting an error when using my iPod Classic, which I think is somehow related to Shuffle, but can't figure out what is going on or how to avoid it.

When working correctly, clicking play on a podcast, playlist or album will play all tracks in the selection, one after the other.

However, when I choose one of my playlists and set it to shuffle by song, when I then go to a new playlist or podcast etc; and I click play, it shows the name and of my last played item, no artist or album info and displays 1 of 0. The timing bar shows 0.00 at the start and finish also.

This still happens after syncing, and the only way I can see to get it working correctly is to restore my iPod. I don't want to do this every day though.

So my questions are, is this a common known issue? I've searched this board but not found anything. Is there a known solution other than restoring my iPod each night?
